External organizations (non U.Va affiliates) may apply for a temporary validation account to cover the parking fees for guests of their events who are parking in the Central Grounds Garage.
Event attendees may park in the Central Grounds Garage located on Emmet Street near Alumni Hall. Guests attending the event will be issued a White Parking ticket upon entry into the garage. When leaving, the guest should give the White Ticket to the Booth Attendant and indicate which event they were attending on Grounds. Once documented, the organization will be billed the parking fees incurred by their guests. Please click here for current parking rates at the Central Grounds Garage.
Due to high turnover and parking demand in the Central Grounds Garage, Parking and Transportation is not able to reserve spaces within the garage. However, groups may still validate parking for their guests. If and when the Central Grounds Garage reaches capacity, additional guests will be directed to the parking lots at University Hall (U-Hall) which are served by several free University Transit Service bus routes.
