Position Description: The Department of Parking and Transportation at the University of Virginia is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic Service Crew Technician.

The Service Crew Technician is responsible for fueling, checking fluids, and minor upkeep and repair of the fleet of 30+ transit buses, 1 luxury minibus, 3 luxury charter coach buses, and 10+ support vehicles at the University Transit Service and Department of Parking and Transportation. This position carries a need for detailed record keeping skills, as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision. The set schedule for this position will be 12:00 AM (midnight) to 9:00 AM, Monday thru Friday.

Position Description: The University of Virginia's Department of Parking and Transportation is searching for a reliable Charter Driver.

The Charter Driver position provides driver support for all luxury coach and over-the-road charter bus trips, including long-distance, overnight trips. Additionally, this position ensures proper log-keeping, maintenance, cleaning, and oversight of the luxury coach fleet, along with compliance with applicable Virginia Department of Transportation regulations. The Charter Driver plays an important role in the planning and execution of long-distance trips along with the various transportation needs of the University during large-scale special events.
