Position Description: The Part-Time Courier position at the University of Virginia's Department of Parking and Transportation is a multi-faceted position with responsibilities ranging from transport of funds to the dispatching of mail.

    The primary duties of the Courier are:
  • Retrieving and distributing change funds from the Central Grounds Garage and the 11th Street Garage
  • Daily changing the Pay-On-Foot Machine's located at the 11th Street Garage
  • Collecting the money from the parking meters around campus
  • Trips to bank for currency exchanges
  • Delivery of mail from our office to other departments
  • Delivery of validation tickets

Position Description: University Transit Service at the Department of Parking and Transportation is seeking a reliable, organized, hard-working, responsible Assistant Operations Manager.

The Assistant UTS Operations Manager at the University Transit Service is a primary operational contact, responsible for spearheading customer service efforts, providing internal support for the fixed route transit service, managing data, serving as the primary radio contact with drivers on the road, supervising Dispatchers to maintain the GPS interface, and scheduling drivers, with additional responsibilities assigned as needed by the Operations Manager.
