Announcements: Epic Phase 2 Training

This web site has been developed to answer parking and transportation questions for those signed up for Epic Phase 2 training sessions.  By following a few steps, Trainees can find out more about the access options for training location.

Scott Stadium Suites/Bryant Hall (1815 Stadium Road, 4th Floor)

Training Session: Weekdays before 5pm Training Session: Weekdays after 5pm and/or on Weekends
  • On-Site Parking: Parking for trainees is available in the parking lot just outside Scott Stadium/Bryant Hall. A UVa parking permit is not required. Trainees possessing a valid DMV issued disability plate or placard may park in the marked accessible parking spaces immediately outside the entrance of Bryant Hall/Scott Stadium. ADA accessible parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Click here for a parking map.

Cavalier Inn (105 Emmet Street, 1st Floor Conference Room)

Training Session: Weekdays before 5pm Training Session: Weekdays after 5pm and/or on Weekends
  • Walk: The Cavalier Inn is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Health System and approximately 5-10 minutes from the U-Hall/John Paul Jones Arena parking areas. Click here for a map of suggested walking path.
  • Transit: The UTS Green Route and Charlottesville Area Transit Route 7 provides service between the Health System and the Cavalier Inn every 10-15 minutes. Click here for a map of the nearest bus stop.
  • Parking: Parking is available in the lots around U-Hall and the John Paul Jones Arena (approximately 5-10 minute walk from the Cavalier Inn). Trainees with a UVa parking permit must display their permit while parking in these areas (any valid UVa parking permit is acceptable). Trainees without a UVa parking permit may print a one-day permit found at this link. On days of major events at the John Paul Jones Arena, trainees may be required to park in the Emmet/Ivy Garage instead. Signs will be posted at the entrances to these lots on event days.
  • ADA Accessible Parking: Trainees possessing a valid DMV issued disability plate or placard may park in the marked accessible parking spaces located immediately outside the entrance to the Cavalier Inn.   • Parking: Trainees may park in the nearby Culbreth Road Garage (approximately 5 minute walk from the Cavalier Inn). A UVa parking permit is not required.
  • ADA Accessible Parking: Trainees possessing a valid DMV issued disability plate or placard may park in the marked accessible parking spaces located immediately outside the entrance to the Cavalier Inn. ADA accessible parking is available on a first come, first served basis. A UVa parking permit is not required.

University of Virginia Research Park

Training Locations:
  • 4105 Lewis and Clark Drive, Rooms 2023 and 2024 (University Physicians Group/UPG)
  • 1000 Research Park Boulevard, Town Center One 1st Floor Conference Room

Trainees may park in the lot directly outside of the 4105 building or in the lot behind Town Center One. ADA accessible parking is available on a first come, first served basis. UVa Medical Center

Training Locations:
  • 1215 Lee Street (Main Hospital, SSIT Conference Room)
  • Hospital Drive (Old Medical School Building, 4th Floor Pathology Conference Room)
  • 1204 West Main Street (Battle Building, 2nd Floor OPSC Conference Room)
Training Session: Weekdays before 5pm Training Session: Weekdays after 5pm and/or on Weekends

Patient parking is the number one priority for the hospital.

Trainees who work at the hospital and are registered for the hospital training locations are expected to park in their regular parking assignments. Trainees coming from Fontaine and Northridge may utilize Patient/Employee shuttles to access the Hospital.

Trainees who do not work at the hospital, at Fontaine, or at Northridge, should park at U-Hall or the John Paul Jones Arena and ride the Green Route. Although the Green Route bus runs every 10-15 minutes, trainees should allow 30 minutes to park and ride the bus to their destination.

When there is an event at JPJ, signs will be posted and trainees may park in the Emmet/Ivy Parking garage located next door to the Cavalier Inn.

If you have a UVA permit, you must display it. If you do not have a UVa permit, please print the one-day permit found at this link.

With a UVa permit displayed, parking for trainees is available in three parking lots around the Health System after 5PM on weekdays and during the weekend:

  • U3 located on West Main Street at Stacey Hall
  • M6 located off Grove Street
  • N-garage located beneath McLeod Hall off Jeanette Lancaster Way

Weekends:
On Saturdays and Sundays, parking is also available in the 11th Street Parking Garage on Levels D and above. A UVa parking permit is not required.


Off-Site Locations (Madison, VA and Fishersville, VA)

Training Locations:
  • UVa Primary Care Center (1480 North Main Street, Suite A, Madison, VA)
    • Trainee parking is located in the rear gravel parking lot.
  • UVa Augusta Pediatric Clinic (57 Beam Lane, Suite 106, Fishersville, VA)
    • Trainee parking is available in the yellow parking spots surrounding the clinic. White parking spots are reserved for patients and should not be used for trainee parking.
