2008/2009 Parking Permit Renewals

2008/2009 parking permit renewal forms will be mailed to permit holders' home mailing in phases. Please contact us via e-mail (parking@virginia.edu) or by phone (434-924-7231) if you do not receive your letter by May 1, 2008. Online permit renewal will be available to most permit holders by logging into your Parking Account. Permit holders may also renew through the mail or in person at our main office. Your renewal letter will indicate whether your permit can be renewed online.

Miss the Deadline?

Parking and Transportation has extended the deadline to renew your permit online until 5:00pm on May 18, 2008. We will also be accepting renewals by mail or in person at our office until 5:00pm on June 5, 2008 for those permit holders who are not eligible for online renewal (see below) or who will not be able to do so before May 18th. To renew your permit by mail or in person, you must have your original permit renewal letter. If you did not receive this, or are unable to locate your copy, please contact us at 434-924-7231 or stop by our office during regular business hours.

The main Parking and Transportation Office is located at 1101 Millmont Street behind the Barracks Road Shopping Center. Our office has several visitor parking spots available and is serviced by UTS’s blue route. We are open Monday-Friday from 7:30am-5:00pm. Our office will be closed on May 26, 2008 in honor of Memorial Day.

Am I Eligible for Online Permit Renewal?

At this time, online permit renewal is not available for 9 and 10 month employees, garage transponders, student permits, and second car permits. We apologize for the inconvenience. These permits may be renewed through the mail or by stopping by our office at 1101 Millmont Street between 7:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Our office will be closed on May 26, 2008 in honor of Memorial Day.

Student permits are not renewed from year to year.
