Overnight Snow Removal Information: General Information
In an attempt to make overnight snow removal as efficient as possible in all areas, several lots around the Grounds have been designated as snow areas. Individuals intending to leave their vehicles overnight are asked to move the vehicle to one of these snow areas. In doing so, all other lots would be clear of vehicles and snow removal can proceed without difficulty. If you choose to leave your vehicle on Grounds overnight and do not move it to a designated snow area, the vehicle will be relocated to the snow area deemed most practical, thus allowing the snow removal to proceed. The Department of Parking and Transportation can let you know the next morning to which snow area your vehicle was relocated. In all cases, when overnight snow removal operations are completed by 8:00 AM the next morning, permit holders must return their vehicles to their normal parking areas. Announcements pertaining to snow removal operations will be made on local radio stations and will be part of the emergency snow phone message.
