State Inspection (For State Vehicles Only)
The maintenance facility is an authorized State Inspection Station
under the aegis of the Virginia State Police, and all maintenance
personnel are certified inspectors.
The vehicles are inspected as required by law and include the inspection
of the following areas:
- Brakes, Master Cylinder, and Tires
- Door Latches in and out
- Emission Control Equipment
- Exhaust System
- Fuel System
- General Body Construction and Floors
- Glass Surfaces
- Lights, Horn, and Signals
- Suspension System
The law requires that all defects must be corrected prior to certification
of the vehicle. We do not have the authority to issue rejection
stickers or allow vehicles to be operated without the complete correction
of all identified defects.
