UTS for Bice and Shea House Residents
Inner U-Loop
The Inner U-Loop connects Bice and Shea House Residents with West Grounds, and Central Grounds. Residents should use the Inner U-Loop when traveling to areas on the westend of McCormick Road (Chemistry Building, Gilmer Hall, Thornton Hall, etc.) by exiting the bus at the Chemistry Building bus stop (24) on McCormick Road. The Inner U-Loop can also be used to access Newcomb Hall and the Bookstore by using the Emmet Street/Central Grounds Garage bus stop (37).
Destinations on the eastend of McCormick Road (Cabell Hall, Garrett Hall, Maury Hall, Robertson/Rouss Hall, etc.) are within walking distance of the both the Bice and Shea Houses.
Outer U-Loop
Residents can use the Outer U-Loop to return to their residences from Newcomb Hall, the Bookstore, and areas on the westend of McCormick Road.
The primary stops near the Hereford Residences are:
- To Grounds: Jefferson Park Avenue/Cabell Hall (23) via the Inner U-Loop
- Returning from Grounds: Exit at Jefferson Park Avenue/Brandon Avenue (55) via the Outer U-Loop

2012-2013 Route: After leaving the Madison Avenue/Preston Avenue stop the Inner U-Loop will turn right onto Preston Avenue, turn right onto Grady Avenue, turn left onto 14th Street, turn left onto University Avenue, turn right onto Jefferson Park Avenue, turn left to continue on Jefferson Park Avenue, turn right onto Mimosa Drive, turn right onto Stadium Road, turn left onto Alderman Road and then turn right onto George Welsh Way to enter the Scott Stadium parking area. From Scott Stadium the Inner U-Loop will continue along George Welsh Way, turn left onto Whitehead Road, turn right onto Alderman Road, turn right onto McCormick Road to enter Central Grounds. From the Thornton Hall stop on McCormick Road the Inner U-Loop will turn left down the McCormick Road ramp onto Emmet Steet, turn right onto University Avenue, turn left onto Rugby Road, turn right onto Grady Avenue, and then turn left on Madison Avenue to return to the Madison Avenue/Preston Avenue stop.

From the eastend of McCormick Road the Outer U-Loop will turn left onto Alderman Road, turn left onto Whitehead Road, turn right onto George Welsh Way to enter the Scott Stadium parking area. From Scott Stadium the Outer U-Loop will turn left onto Alderman Road, continue straight onto Maury Avenue, turn left onto Jefferson Park Avenue, turn left onto West Main Street, and turn right onto 14th Street to return to the Madison Avenue/Preston Avenue stop.
