The Program Home Stay Program Term Session Summer Session Applying UVa In Peru Home Universidad Catolica
  TERM SESSION COST

The estimated program fee is $9,600.00. The program fee will cover the following items:

  • Non-refundable application fee of $120.00.
  • Airfare from Miami to Lima and back
  • Reception at the Lima airport and transportation to local housing.
  • Initial brief excursion out of Lima .
  • Several lunch and / or dinner sessions throughout the term.
  • Tuition, maximum of 15 credits, including some course materials.
  • Accommodation and all meals except in-session weekday lunches with a
    local family.
  • Lunch Monday through Friday at the Universidad Católica.
  • Excursions and cultural activities organized by the Universidad Católica.
  • Administrative fee.

The program fee does not include insurance, incidentals, the cost of acquiring a valid passport, airfares, airport taxes, or the cost of non-program excursions, extra-curricular activities, or any trips.

Though the Universidad Católica has a Student Health Service offering basic and emergency services, students are responsible for their health insurance coverage while abroad and in the program. Students are most strongly advised to inquire with their health insurance providers and to make sure that they are adequately covered while in Perú. Students are also strongly advised to obtain travel insurance covering them against loss of personal property while in Perú.
