Application for Admission

What you need to submit with your application:

1.	An official transcript from the Registrar;
2.	One confidential letter of recommendation, preferably from a UVA faculty member. The recommender must know you well enough to speak informatively about your academic potential. The letter is to be given to you in a signed, sealed envelope which you will include with the other application items;
3.	An essay you have previously written for a course, preferably with the instructor's comments and evaluation included.
4.	A brief (no more than two page) essay explaining why you wish to pursue a PPL major and what you hope to achieve from it.
5.	This application form. (In order to open it this file, you will need Adobe Reader; if this program is is not already installed on your computer, you can download it for free here.)
6.	Useful but not required: your resume or CV.

To receive full consideration, we must have all of these no later than February 29, 2008, although we reserve the right to accept late submissions until the entry class is chosen. Mail or hand deliver your application to:
