Process Simplification is a systematic improvement approach in which employees from the University's academic and administrative units form partnerships, in support of the mission of the University of Virginia, to create and maintain processes that:

  • offer unprecedented levels of service
  • enhance the quality of work life of faculty, staff, and students
  • empower employees to perform meaningful, productive work
  • use technology and financial resources to their fullest advantage

Director of Process Simplification
Process Improvement Project Challenge

Providing an opportunity for University employees to submit continuous improvement initiatives to the Office of Process Simplification (PS) for consideration. The goal of the challenge is to promote process improvement across grounds providing a mechanism where employees can recommend projects, and receive the support and services of the PS staff to facilitate the initiative.
