Process Simplification is a systematic improvement approach in which employees from the University's academic and administrative units form partnerships, in support of the mission of the University of Virginia, to create and maintain processes that:

  • offer unprecedented levels of service
  • enhance the quality of work life of faculty, staff, and students
  • empower employees to perform meaningful, productive work
  • use technology and financial resources to their fullest advantage

NCCI - National Consortium for Continuous Improvement in Higher EducationNCCI Call for 2010 Annual Conference Proposals - "Building Bridges to the Future: Reimagining Higher Education"  The Annual Conference Program Committee invites you to share your knowledge and experience, drawn from successful projects, seasoned approaches, innovative organization design, and successful case studies.

NCCI now accepting applications for the Leveraging Excellence Award, an award program that recognizes initiatives where effective academic and administrative practices have been successfully implemented beyond one department, campus, or institution. Initiatives should demonstrate significant impact on quality, efficiency, service, or learning.
