Facilities Management-Capital Project Customer Service
The purpose of this work group is to review current Facilities Management customer communication practices with regard to capital construction projects. Specifically, the review is focused on involving users in the decision-making process, using appropriate tools to collect and disseminate project information, and providing customers appropriate contact information for necessary follow-up communication. This work will culminate with recommendations for improved communication, which is critical to a project's success and customer satisfaction.
Sarah Collie and Lea Moore, Process Simplification staff, are coordinating the work in collaboration with Facilities Management staff, Rick Rice, Jay Klingel, and Sack Johannesmeyer. Several capital project customers (school or unit representatives) are also being consulted as part of this review.
