University Community Partnerships Advisory Committee
The University Community Partnerships Advisory Committee (UCPAC) was formed in January 2010 in direct response to a recommendation from the Community University Research and Service Partnership (CURSP). The Partnership’s research showed that university-community offices at peer higher education institutions and at U.Va. have advisory formal groups that guide and provide input on program development, office activities, and long term goals. To this end, the UCP’s office has established this advisory committee as a mechanism for receiving feedback from faculty, students, and community members on how to enhance academic collaborations between the university and the community. UCP Advisory Committee members are asked to serve a two year (2) term.
