As an evaluator of social programs for young people, such as after-school programs both in schools and in community-based settings, my focus is on understanding the relationships among developmental settings, young people's experiences and their outcomes with the goal of improving practice in those settings. I am also interested in social policy and in understanding how communities can work together to effect change on a community level.
