  • Kids Acting Out

KAO is a service organization dedicated to directing local children in theater productions. We put on a play each semester with second, third and fourth grade students at Clark Elementary School. We practice with them for one hour per week. It is a lot of fun and the kids are so talented and adorable! We do everything with the kids from playwriting, directing, making costumes, sets, and anything else you'd want to bring to the table!

  • KiVa Microfinancial Action

The purpose of KiVA is to generate interest in and funding for underfunded entrepreneurs in Third World countries. Unlike other micro-financial interest-groups around Grounds, KiVA will actually grant loans to those in need of funding. By utilizing the innovative web site, kiva.org, we will target driven business people based on their community goals and business plans. KiVA will use the university community and its students' passion in order to generate funds to be allocated democratically to these worthy entrepreneurs in order to start and/or expand their businesses. The uniqueness of kiva.org as a medium allows funds to be returned to KiVA at a reasonable pace, without interest. This means that our funds and ability to change others' lives will only grow as the organization thrives.
