Reports


  • Q: Do I have to print and sign reports?
    A: Recon@UVA captures an electronic signature and date. However, if a PI has assigned an alternate approver, then the PI must sign a printed copy of the BBA report.

  • Q: How do I print "landscape" if a report comes up as "portrait?"
    A: If the report is printing portrait and you want to print it landscape, right-click on the report view and go to “Print Preview.” There is an option button to change to landscape.

  • Q: I'm clicking the printer icon and nothing is happening?
    A: If you've already opened a printable report in a second window, that window will refresh each time you request a new report. We recommend that you close that window after each printing so the window will pop-up to the front of your screen when you request a new report.

  • Q: Why does my Labor Distribution Report keep changing?
    A: The Labor Distribution Report is "live" data, reporting the most recent labor schedule posted to the Integrated System as of 3am the morning before being posted to Recon@UVa. Since it is dynamic (like the Discoverer report) you cannot retrieve archived data for old months.
