Never use punctuation in either the address or NOK fields (unless the punctuation is part of the name).
The delivery address line, consisting of street address, post office box number, route number and box number, or highway contract number and box number, should appear on one line if possible.
When the address is too long to allow placement of the apartment number on the same line, the number should be placed on the line immediately preceding the delivery address line.
Use standard abbreviations for street designators. Use abbreviations for directions (East, West, North, South) when used with a street name, but not when they are themselves the street name.
The
Foreign addresses also require the use of country codes, which are listed in Table 103. Return to Guidelines for Faculty and Staff users of ISIS | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
