NOTE: These instructions apply only to students enrolling through an on-Grounds program.
Registration at the University requires completion of these three steps: |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1. | Enroll in Courses | Graduate
students (except Law, Darden, and Medicine) can enroll in
fall 2007 courses beginning April 2, and are recommended to
enroll prior
to July before tuition bills are produced. All blocks must be cleared before enrolling in courses. A complete listing of courses can be found in the Course Offerings Directory. (Note: If you do not enroll in courses prior to August 20, you must complete final registration first and then add courses.) |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2. | Pay Tuition & Fees | A bill will be sent to your permanent address (for undergraduate students) or local address (for graduate students), and must be paid or properly deferred by the August due date. If you need to make any last-minute payments to clear a registration block, you must go to the Student Financial Services or Cashiering desk in Carruthers Hall. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3. | Final Registration | Beginning Monday, August 20 - Friday, August 31 students who do not have any type of registration block* and who are enrolled in one or more credits will be automatically 'final registered' by the University each evening (i.e. their registration status will be set to 'H' [here]). (Law, Medicine and Darden students will be checked only for blocks). If you fail to complete this step by 5:00 P.M. on Friday, August 31, you will be dropped from all courses and your I.D. card will be deactivated. If you do not add any courses prior to August 20, you will have to complete final registration before doing so. |
