The Student Disability Access Center (SDAC) supports UVA students by creating access to the full University experience. Our primary role is to determine eligibility and to provide reasonable academic, housing, dining and transportation accommodations for students with disabilities in line with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Acts of 2008.

If you have a documented physical, sensory, cognitive, psychological disability or chronic medical condition, or a temporary injury (such as a concussion, a broken leg or broken arm) and would like to request accommodations for your classes, on-grounds housing, the dining hall, and/or would like assistance getting around Grounds, please contact the SDAC at 434-243-5180, visit our office on the ground floor of the Elson Student Health Center (400 Brandon Avenue) or visit our website for more information.
