Annual summary
of study for HR MA/PHD & PHD programs
This is to be submitted
by each student accepted in the MA or MA/PHD programs
by March 30th of each year in printed form to the Graduate
Secretary after consultation with the students adviser.
It is not be filled in by MA only students. It must be
submitted by all students whether they are on leave, doing
fieldwork, or anything else. Failure to submit this on
time will result in automatic suspension from the program.

This must be done until you have finished all course requirements
(including incompletes), and had that verified at a year
end meeting. Fill in ALL slots, including courses yet
to be taken.

"semester", please use the ISIS format of the last two
digits of the year followed by 1 for spring, 2 for summer
and 3 for fall (981= 1998). The entire form should be
filled in each time for projected courses, just
mark the projected semester preceded by an X (the X enables
an easy glance at projected and actual coursework).

Two relevant modern
research languages: each student must pass University
qualifying exams in two such languages with modern academic
bodies of research literature relevant to their program
of study. If neither the primary or second language qualify,
the student must do so for both French and German.
