Membership

The Retired Faculty Association was founded to provide a means for communication between the University administration and its retired faculty, and to permit the scheduling of events and programs for its members on a continuing basis.

Membership in the UVa Retired Faculty Association shall be open to:

• All retirees who have held a full-time appointment (including General Faculty) of at least one year at the University.
• Spouses of these retirees, whether or not the retiree is deceased.
• Surviving spouses of former full-time faculty members of the University of Virginia who died prior to retirement.

Current members can renew their membership, and other retired faculty members are invited to join the Retired Faculty Association. The $20 annual dues cover the retiree and a spouse (or a surviving spouse if the retiree is deceased.)
