UVA President Jim Ryan’s annual spring Retired Faculty lunch will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, noon to 1:30 PM, in the Grand Ballroom at the Boar’s Head Pavilion. Invitations have been emailed to all UVA Retired Faculty members (see below). Please respond promptly as space may be limited.
On behalf of President Ryan, I write to invite you to the annual Retired Faculty Lunch, which will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Pavilion at Boar’s Head Resort. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and remarks will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Please respond no later than Friday, March 8, either online at http://majorevents.virginia.edu/retiredfacultylunch (preferred) or by phone at the contact information provided below.
Please note that seating for the event is limited. Once all available seats for the lunch are reserved, we will establish a wait list for additional seating. If your RSVP changes and you are no longer able to attend, please let us know so that we can accommodate additional guests from the waitlist.
Parking will be available in the lot next to the Boar’s Head Pond, located on Berwick Road (this is the second right after entering the Boar’s Head property). The Pavilion is a short walk from the parking area. For guests with limited mobility, a shuttle (wheelchair-accessible) will be available to transport guests to and from the Pavilion. If you have specific parking questions or concerns regarding this arrangement, please let me know.
