Our second luncheon of the academic year was held at the Omni Hotel at noon on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Our speaker for this luncheon was Karin Bonding, retired finance lecturer from the McIntire School of Commerce, who spoke about “The Ever Changing Financial Landscape.”
Karin Bonding retired from the McIntire School in 2015 after nearly twenty years of service. Her extensive global investment background includes marketing, consulting, and management of portfolios and client relationships. During her time at McIntire, she taught courses in personal finance and international finance and accounting, and she conducted many financial literacy seminars and workshops across the grounds for students, staff, faculty, and alumni.
