The Retired Faculty Association of the University of Virginia (RFA) will provide a means for communication between the University of Virginia and its retired faculty, and permit the scheduling of events and programs for its members on a continuing basis.

Spring Reception at the Colonnade Club, April 26, 2017, 5-7 PM

The Retired Faculty Association’s annual spring reception was held at the Colonnade Club on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 5 to 7 P.M.


Hors d’oeuvres included whole poached salmon in aspic, coconut shrimp with tropical salsa, country ham biscuits with mustard butter, grilled petite lamb chops with citrus port sauce, tandoori chicken skewers with tamarind dipping sauce, artichoke-spinach dip with sliced baguettes, deviled eggs, fresh pea cakes with red pepper soy chutney, fresh vegetables with dip, fruit and cheese platters, lemon gourmet dessert bars, raspberry coconut gourmet dessert bars, and assorted cookies. Beverages will include wine, sodas, Aquafina still water, and Saratoga sparkling water.
