Fifth-Year Interim Report (2013)

In between decennial reaffirmations, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) requires institutions to submit a Fifth-Year Interim Report.  According to SACSCOC, the interim review “was developed to respond to the U.S. Department of Education’s requirements [that] (1) accrediting bodies continuously monitor institutions to ensure compliance, and (2) accrediting bodies have a mechanism for reviewing multiple sites initiated since last reaffirmation.”

The University’s Fifth-Year Interim Report was due March 25, 2013. The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost was charged with the coordination of the University's submission. The provost appointed a steering committee, named below, to provide oversight of the process along with subcommittees charged with developing the University's submission. In June 2013, the SACSCOC Board of Trustees accepted the University's Fifth-Year Interim Report, without recommendation.
