Please note an IMPORTANT CHANGE in scheduling SOC 3120: Sociology Research Workshop & SOC 3130: Introduction to Social Statistics:
Starting from Fall 2010, SOC 3120 and SOC 3130 will be offered ONLY ONCE A YEAR -
SOC 3120 in the Fall and SOC 3130 in the Spring.
The class size for for both courses will be increased so that they will accommodate students fulfilling the SOC 3120/3130 requirements for the Sociology major. The requirements stipulate that SOC 3120 PRECEDES SOC 3130.
Please plan accordingly as you schedule your courses for the 2010/2011 academic year. You can contact the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Professor Makarova, if you have serious scheduling conflicts or other special circumstances.
For those of you who have already taken SOC 3120 but were postponing taking SOC 3130 until Fall 2010: please note that you may still take SOC 3130 in SPRING 2010; the course has a few openings left.
Both SOC 3120 & 3130 will be offered during 2010 Summer session.
