NOTE: This method is recommended for those who are unfamiliar with the spaces and/or their availability.
If you know what space you wish to use and its availability,
please see the “How do I…” section titled: "Submit an event request using the Event Wizard"
From your Home Page, click “See Available Locations”
Location Quick Search
Either enter the building name (Ex:New Cabell Hall) or location name (New Cabell Hall 032 or CAB 032) within the “Find Locations by Name” field or click “Select Existing Search”.
HINT 1: Please note that partial location names will return spaces (Cabell or Cabell 032).
HITN 2: If you have previously “starred” your preferred locations, you will see them listed on this page, and you will see the search name: “Your Starred Locations” appear by default within the search name field.
Upon clicking the “Select Existing Search” button you will see a list of searches that you may use. Most pertain to the individual Colleges, buildings or purpose (ex: Performance Space). You will also see a search named “My Spaces”. This search will display every space that you have permission to view and request.
Select the day and time by clicking on the date in the gray field:
Then enter the actual day and time for your event and click “Done”:
The list of available spaces will appear:
If you are not sure which space will work best for your event, click on the space’s “short name” (ex CAB 132) and then select one of the 4 tabs at the top to view more information about the space:

Once you have found a suitable space, click the “Request It” button.
The Event Wizard will appear with the date, time and space you selected. If the event repeats, be sure to select the pattern from the “Event Repeats” section.
Complete the remaining required fields and click “Save”. That’s it! An event scheduler will be contacting you once your event has been confirmed.
HINT 3: If there is a space or spaces you would use on a regular basis, click the star icon to the left of the space name
It will then be displayed when you navigate to the “Locations” section of the website and appear within “Your Starred Locations” search.
