A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO STUDY ARGENTINA
AND ITS CREATIVE PROCESS WITH
SOME OF THE MOST IMPORTANT WRITERS
IN ARGENTINA TODAY.
The seminar will take place in Resistencia, the capital of the Chaco province, in the Centro de Altos Estudios Literarios y Sociales
Chaco and will be coordinated by Mempo Giardinelli.
There will be three hours of classes daily (Monday through Friday) dedicated to specific topics including the discussion of the authors'
work in progress, plus an Argentine film series in the afternoons.
There will be opportunities to engage in discussions with the invited writers during informal forums, field trips, breakfasts and lunches,
tertulias in cafés and more.
The program organizes an optional visit to the Iguazú waterfalls, the Jesuit ruins of San Ignacio and the home of Haracio Quiroga.
The seminar will start with an orientation meeting on Sunday, June 22 in the evening and will conclude with a farewell banquet (asado
criollo) on Friday, July 4.
