| Edited by David T. Gies, DIECIOCHO is Hispanism's only journal dedicated to the study of the literature, culture, and history of the Enlightenment in Spain and Spanish America. It provides a forum for scholars from around the world to discuss new discoveries and present new ideas on issues relating to the Spanish and Spanish-American Enlightenment (generally, as the title suggests, the eighteenth-century). Published semi-annually (spring and fall), DIECIOCHO presents articles written in English, Spanish or Portuguese; scholarly reviews of the latest books in the field; and a current bibliography of recently-published books and articles. $20 per year.
