Prices include:
1. *Round trip JFK-Valencia-JFK
2. Lodging in private homes as paying guests, double or single rooms according to availability.
3. Full board: 3 meals a day in the home.
4. Two day trips: a) Xàtiva or Sagunto, b) Peñíscola.
5. Farewell banquet.
6. Standing assistance by Program Administraion.

Prices exclude:
Optional weekend trips to Madrid, Granada, Barcelona and Seville. Will be subject to availability. Cost and itineraries to be announced.
Forms of Payment
Fees are to be remitted as follows.
1. Non-refundable enrollment fee of $100 by check made payable
to UVA Spanish Department due at time of application.
2. The remainder of the term by check made payable to UVA
Hispanic Studies

4. Students attending just Session I or combo I & II must submit the total amount before April 17, 2009 ; those attending just Session II, before May 20, 2009 .

Withdrawals made prior to 30 days before departure date will not incur penalization. Withdrawals made within 30 days of departure date will incur a penalty of 15% of the term plus the cost of the ticket for students flying with a Program airline ticket. Withdrawal refunds for students who receive financial aid will be governed by the applicable Federal, State or University regulations.
6. If for any reason a student should leave the program once it has begun, s/he will lose all rights to a refund, and will receive only the return ticket.
7. If for any reason a student should not be at the airport on the day of departure, s/he must join the program by his/her own means, and s/he loses the amount of the ticket paid.
8. All individual housing or transatlantic travel arrangements are subject to special approval and conditions set by the program administration.
9. The program administration reserves the right to terminate either extracurricular or complete participation of any student whose conduct is considered unacceptable or in detriment to the program.
10. Program prices have been established at an exchange
rate of 1.52 dollars to the euro. If the rate of exchange
decreases more than 5% from this figure, the prices will
increase accordingly.
12. The cost of the airline ticket was set, according to
fares in effect in June 2008. Variations that airline fares
might experience up to departure date, may be reflected
in the final price of the course.
13. Non-University of Virginia Students should check with their own study abroad office for applications procedures and arrangements for payment.
14. Availability of transcripts will be pending receipt
of all monies due to the University of Virginia Hispanic
Studies Program and affiliate services.
