F&A rate agreement for FY12 - FY15

The University has completed negotiations with DHHS for F&A rates from FY12 through FY15. The negotiated FY12 rates affirm the provisional rates currently in use. The FY13-15 rates should be used in preparing budgets for these years.

OSP Launches Effort@UVA

Faculty are now able to certify their own effort reports online via the new online Time and Effort Certification System.

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) facilitates research and research administration at the University of Virginia. Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, OSP signs off on grant applications, and negotiates contracts and grants with a wide variety of sponsors. Once an award has been made , OSP provides a comprehensive service in award administration and regulatory compliance. OSP is located in Carruthers Hall.
