- 2012 Tuition & Fee Rates Per Semester
Note: University tuition and fees are set annually by the Board of Visitors and are effective only for the academic year noted.
To determine your costs per semester, locate your classification by level of study (Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional ) in the left-hand column and your classification as either Virginian or Non-Virginian. Click on the check mark in the table that matches your status to see the per semester costs. For additional information about approved comprehensive fees, please click here. For information about the credit hours threshold surcharge, please click here. For entering undergraduates, a one-time Orientation fee of $210 is assessed in the Fall 2011 term. For transfer students, the Orientation fee is $130. Information about housing and dining costs can be found at their respective websites.
The Virginia Prepaid Education Program (VPEP) covers Tuition and Fees plus the Orientation fee for first-semester, first-year undergraduate students. VPEP payments for first-semester undergraduate students will be $6,002.00 for the Fall 2011 term, to accommodate the one-time $210 Orientation fee for these students. VPEP payments will be $5,792.00 for all returning undergraduate students and second-semester entering and transfer students.
