H1N1 Vaccine Now Available
The Department of Student Health will hold a second H1N1 Vaccination Clinic for all students on Tuesday, December 1st, from 10 a.m. to 6p.m. at Newcomb Hall Ballroom.
UNLIKE THE PREVIOUS CLINIC, STUDENTS OF ANY AGE CAN RECEIVE THE VACCINE.
This will likely be your last chance to receive the H1N1 vaccine before Winter Break.
Cost: $19.96 Administrative Fee, payable at time of service by cash, check, or credit card – (MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover). Aetna Student Health Insurance will be accepted.
Lines move quickly at the clinic, with a typical wait time of only five minutes.
You are encouraged to take this small amount of time out of your day to protect yourself from the H1N1 flu. It is important not only for your health and academic success, but also for the health of your friends and family. Don’t bring the H1N1 flu home for the holidays!
This vaccine will be the injectable form. If you believe you may already have had H1N1 flu, you are still advised to be vaccinated since we cannot be absolutely certain that you had H1N1. The vaccination will provide greater protection from future exposure.
Offered by the Department of Student Health, in cooperation with Intravene, our program partner.
