Currently, there is no treatment that cures HPV, i.e., completely rids the body of the HPV organism. (There is no curative treatment for any of the many viruses that can infect the human body.)  But HPV, like most viruses, is eventually killed off by a healthy person's immune system.  However, there are several treatment options available for treating the various manifestations of HPV infection.  It is thought that this helps the body fight off the virus more quickly and completely.

  1. Genital Warts

·         Surgically remove or remove with medication

  1. Dysplasia and  Cervical Cancer

Treatments for cervical dysplasia:

·         Cryotherapy (freezing the cells with liquid nitrous oxide ).

·         LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure) also known as LLETZ (Large Loop Excision of The Transformation Zone)

·         Conization (also called cone biopsy)

·         Laser Vaporization

·         Hysterectomy
