at the time of colposcopy
- A
tiny piece of tissue is removed from the cervix with a special
instrument.
- This
involves a very brief sharp sensation, about like having blood
drawn.
- The
tissue is sent to a lab for further testing.
- You
will be informed of the results of the biopsy and of the plan
for your care.
