New Times for Emergency Walk-in and Consultation Hours:

CAPS is open for emergency walk-ins between 11:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. During these hours students are able to seen on a non-appointment basis throughout the week. These times should only be utilized for urgent or emergency situations that cannot wait for a regularly scheduled appointment.

If students' needs are not urgent, they may call for an appointment at 243-5150. In most instances students will be given a first appointment within five days waiting time.

Faculty, UVa administrators or parents who wish to speak with the on-call clinician about issues pertaining to a student should also call during the same walk-in and consultation times listed above. If a parents want to receive consultation, they should be aware that if their child is currently a patient at CAPS, professional staff will not be able to share any information about a student without a signed release from the student.
