On
the first true spring day of 2004, at The University of Virginia,
hundreds and hundreds of students gathered at Newcomb Plaza to
find out what all the hub-bub was about the BAC card. There was singing,
dancing, food, mocktails and BAC cards to greet these curious students.
The event rolled into the early evening hours as a cappella group
favorites Silhouettes, AVP, Ektal, The Blue Notes and the O'Tones
filled our ears with candy as our mouths were filled with Charlottesville's
favorite cuisine. Check out the pictures below highlighting the
success of the 1st Annual BAC card event hosted by The Office of
Health Promotion.

Over 1,000 students came to Newcomb Plaza to hear a cappella music,
eat some snacks and learn about Blood Alcohol Content
Alison Beaver and Tara Schuster, Peer Health Educator Coordinators,
helped to keep post at the BAC card information table.
