Special Enrollment Periods
Aetna Student Health offers special enrollment periods for students who start at different times:

• • Spring/Summer Session Enrollment: Only new students entering for the spring semester are eligible to purchase a partial year plan for spring/summer coverage at the spring/summer premium of $1,436.00. Coverage will be effective January 1 through August 14, 2011.

• • Summer Session Enrollment: Only new students attending Summer Session are eligible to enroll for May, June, July, and August of the current plan year at the summer premium of $717. Coverage will be effective May 1 through August 14, 2011.

Optional Effective Date Coverage:  Students who miss the annual or special enrollment deadlines will have an opportunity to join the plan; however, no pro-rated premium is available for this Optional Effective Date Coverage.  The premium will be the same premium as the Spring/Summer plan. Coverage will begin on the date after an on-line enrollment application is submitted or the date after a paper application is postmarked.
