WHAT
IS THE 4th YEAR 5K Run/Walk?
The 4th Year 5K Run/Walk is an event presented every November near the date of the last home football game to provide students with a healthy alternative to the dangers of high-risk drinking and the fourth-year fifth. While the race is an opportunity for students to learn about low-risk drinking behavior, it is also a chance for members of the University and Charlottesville communities to come together to publicly demonstrate their commitment to responsible behavior and healthy living.
The race is presented every year by the Peer Health Educators at the University of Virginia, and is made possible by generous support from community sponsors and other University organizations. This generosity allows us to donate the proceeds from the race to the the Leslie Baltz Foundation. Thank you for participating in this UVa tradition!
