Faculty Consultation
SDAC staff are available to consult with faculty about the provision of specific accommodations in their classrooms. Students receiving accommodations are asked to sign a release prior to the provision of services to allow this consultation. However, information that is shared is limited to that pertaining to academic support and generally does not include a student's diagnosis. The SDAC is also available to consult with faculty about questions they may have about any student, including the possibility of referring the student to the SDAC. Faculty members are not required to provide us with identifying information about students in order to use our consultation services. In addition to individual consultation, the SDAC is available to consult with departments or Schools about any aspects of accessibility.
