Study Abroad Program Proposals
Faculty interested in submitting a proposal to offer a new or repeat study abroad program for J-Term 2017 or Summer 2017 should select and complete the appropriate forms from the list below. Proposals should be submitted via email to Dudley Doane at email@example.com or by mail at P.O. 400165. Proposals will be reviewed by the Faculty Advisory Committee for Education Abroad (FACEA), the International Studies Office (ISO) and the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost. Only complete proposals will be considered. Proposals require school and departmental endorsement. Faculty and Staff Training Dates:
J-Term and Spring 2016 program director, faculty and staff training - Wednesday, December 9, 2015, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. with a make-up session on Friday, December 11, 2015, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Summer and Fall 2016 program director, faculty and staff training – Friday, April 22, 2016, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. with a makeup session on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Note: New semester study abroad proposals generally require 18-24 months of planning. UVa faculty interested in developing a semester study abroad program should contact Dudley Doane at email@example.com after consulting with the appropriate Associate Dean for Academic Programs in their home school.
