German Summer Language Program
German was one of the founding languages in the Summer Language Institute, having proudly graduated students for 30 years. We aim to be here another 30 years, serving undergraduates and graduates, alike! Our mission: making German rewarding and fun.
Pedagogy and Philosophy
SLI German begins at the beginning, teaching the sounds of the language on Day One. We offer all four skills (speaking, comprehension, reading and writing), monitoring student progress each hour. There are daily self-quizes and weekly quizzes, so that students are sure every day of their progress. Each lesson features the Internet.
