- High School Application Form will be available in January 2010.
For many summers, the University of Virginia has admitted rising juniors and seniors into credit courses with regular University of Virginia students. While we have no courses designated for high school students, rising juniors and seniors possessing strong academic potential and personal maturity may apply to enroll in regular summer session classes and receive college-level credit for courses they complete successfully. The Assistant Director for Summer and Special Academic Programs serves as an academic advisor to those offered admission, helping them select appropriate courses and allowing them to enroll in one course during each four-and-a-half week session or two courses spanning the entire nine weeks. Please download and complete the High School Application if you are interested in attending the University of Virginia Summer Session. Admission to the Summer Session does not constitute admission to the University, nor does it allow students to register for the subsequent fall and spring semesters. Visiting high school students are not eligible for UVA housing.
