If you are currently enrolled in a degree program, and attended courses at the University during Spring 2014 you need not apply for admission to the Summer Session unless you are graduating in May.
If you are currently enrolled in a degree program and are graduating in May 2014 you must complete a Summer Session application. Click the 'Receiving a Degree in May' link above to be directed to the visiting students Application for Permission to Enroll instructions.
If you have been absent from the University for a semester or more, you must be formally readmitted by your school of enrollment before attending Summer Session. To do so, you must be cleared by your academic dean, the Department of Student Health, and the Office of the Dean of Students. Applications for readmission to most schools are due in the academic dean's office at least sixty days in advance of the next class registration. Check with your school for deadlines and instructions. This does not apply to students who have been enrolled in an approved UVa study abroad program for Spring 2014.
