Enrolled full-time in a degree program spring 2013

If you are currently enrolled in a degree program, and attended courses at the University during Spring 2013 you need not apply for admission to the Summer Session unless you are graduating in May.

Receiving a degree in May 2013

If you are currently enrolled in a degree program and are graduating in May 2013 you must complete a Summer Session application. Click the 'Receiving a Degree in May' link above to be directed to the visiting students Application for Permission to Enroll instructions.

Returning Students (Leave of Absence, Study Abroad, etc.)

If you were a student not in residence during the Spring 2013 semester you must complete a Summer Session Application. Click the 'Returning Students link above to be directed to the visiting student Application for Permission to Enroll instructions. This does NOT include UVA students enrolled in an approved UVA study abroad program during Spring 2013.

Readmission - Enrollment in the Summer Session does not constitute readmission to the University.

If you have been absent from the University for a semester or more, you must be formally readmitted to the regular fall or spring session. To do so, you must be cleared by your academic dean, the Department of Student Health, and the Office of the Dean of Students. Applications for readmission to most schools are due in the academic dean's office at least sixty days in advance of the next class registration. Check with your school for deadlines and instructions.

School of Continuing & Professional Studies (Community Scholars)

If you are taking courses through Continuing Education as a community scholar you must complete a Summer Session Application. Click the School of Continuing and Professional Studies link above to be directed to the visiting students Application for Permission to Enroll instructions.
