Artists ranging from Timothy O'Sullivan and Thomas Moran through Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, and Georgia O'Keefe to Robert Smithson, Nancy Holt, and James Turrell have use the space and light to create important and lasting works of art.

This is a residential program. This course will begin with an overview in digital camera use and the history of landscape art and then spend two weeks traveling through the West; camping, photographing, and visiting important Earth Art sites and historic landscapes along the way.
