Children's Medical Center Telethon Surpasses #2 Million
June 11, 2004 — History was made on June 6, 2004 when a $20,000 pledge put the University of Virginia Children's Medical Center Telethon over the $2 million mark for the first time ever. Minutes later, when a $21,000 pledge was phoned in, the scene on the telethon set on the 7th floor of the U.Va. Medical Center was jubilant. The final total for the Telethon was $2,046,270. More. |
