U.Va. Online Project Examines History of Gender Roles in China

U.Va.’s New  Bone Disease Clinic Welcomes Patients

As men and women age, they are faced with the certainty of bone density loss. Bone loss can occur in anyone, but is more common in women going through menopause. The accelerated bone loss can lead to osteoporosis — severe bone loss. Patients can now seek specialized treatment in the prevention and treatment of bone loss at U.Va.’s newly opened Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Disease Clinic. Full story.


U.Va. Alumnus, Professional Football Player Tiki Baber to Speak at Valedictiion

U.Va. alumnus and professional football player Atiim Kiambu (Tiki) Barber will be the keynote speaker for U.Va.’s Class of 2004 Valediction Exercises May 15 on the Lawn. Barber, who graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce in 1997, is a star running back for the National Football League’s New York Giants, who played in Super Bowl XXXV in January 2001.
