New University Map Comes in Two Flavors: Print and Web

Interactive MapFINDING YOUR WAY around the U.Va. Grounds has just gotten easier with the release of the new University map. The map is available in a print version and, for the first time, on the Web. The map incorporates new buildings as well as buildings-in-progress. The electronic version takes visitors to another level, offering features such as cross-referencing of buildings and their histories, and virtual reality tours. Full story.

U.Va.’s Medical Center Operating in the Black

A detailed presentation on the work of U.Va.’s Pituitary Center by Dr. Edward R. Laws Jr., a report by School of Nursing Dean Jeanette Lancaster on efforts to increase enrollment, and a mid-year report by chief financial officer Larry L. Fitzgerald on the status of the Medical Center’s financial affairs highlighted last week’s meeting of the Medical Center Operating Board. Full story.
