U.S. News & World Report Releases Rankings: U.Va.’s Graduate Programs Hold Steady

DESPITE TIMES OF fiscal and budgetary uncertainty in higher education, five of U.Va.’s graduate schools continue to rank among the best in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report’s latest annual rankings of graduate schools and programs, released today. Four schools rank in the top 25 — School of Medicine, Law School, Curry School and Darden School. Full story.

U.Va. Students and JPA Residents Join Forces for Community Clean-Up

Spring is in the air and U.Va. students and residents living on or near Jefferson Park Avenue are feeling the fever. Community members have organized a neighborhood clean-up, with efforts beginning Sunday at 2 p.m., rain or shine. Afterwards, all participants are invited to “clean-up” at a free pizza dinner. After Review of Program, Littlepage Says Gillen’s The One to Lead U.Va. Men’s Basketball

Pete GillenAfter a thorough review of the U.Va. Men’s Basketball program, athletics director Craig K. Littlepage has announced that Pete Gillen (right) will remain head coach, a position he has held since 1998. “On the basis of our review, I feel confident that we have a coach prepared to meet the University’s expectations for championship-level results,” says Littlepage.
