In the news article, "U.Va. announces new arts center," the reporter ssuggested the University Architect gave his approval for the University Performing Center and the new home of the University Museum last week. In fact, the project was approved during the Dec. 8, 2004 meeting of the Buildings and Grounds Committee of the Board of Visitors. The Board approves all building projects at the University.
