Tyler Tuite

Tyler Tuite Brings Love, Hope to Nicaraguan Children

IT’S ALL ABOUT the children for Tyler Tuite. When Tuite was a teenager, a trip to Nicaragua and seeing the dispair of the country’s children left a lasting impression that would stay ingrained in the young man’s soul. After arriving at U.Va. in 2001, Tuite devoted himself to working with area youngsters, at the same time keeping his ties with the orphanage, Casa Bernabe. Part of a movement to improve the quality of life for these underprivileged children, the U.Va. graduate will help launch the new Nicaraguan Orphan Fund that he helped create. Full story.
